Everything you want to know before booking your first appointment with Kat.

Getting Started

Do I need any experience with Botox to book?

Not at all. Most of Kat’s clients are first-timers or people who’ve had a bad experience elsewhere and want a fresh start. Everything begins with a free consultation where she walks you through it before anything happens.

What happens at the free consultation?

You sit down together, Kat learns your goals, looks at your face, and tells you exactly what she recommends, which areas she’d treat, and the total cost. No pressure, no commitment.

Can I get treated the same day as my consultation?

Yes, if you’d like. Some clients prefer to think it over first — completely fine. Either way works.

How do I book?

Use the Book Now button anywhere on the site, pick a time, and fill out a short intake form. That’s it.

Botox & Dysport

How long does Botox last?

Most clients see results for 3 to 4 months. First-timers sometimes metabolize it faster; consistency tends to extend results over time.

Does Botox hurt?

Most clients describe it as a small pinch. The needles are extremely fine and the appointment is quick.

Will I look frozen?

Not if it’s done right. Kat’s goal is natural movement with softened lines — you talk through exactly what you want before she injects anything.

What should I avoid before and after?

Before: skip blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) and alcohol for 24 hours. After: stay upright 4 hours and avoid exercise, heat, and alcohol for 24 hours. Kat provides a full guide.

Dermal Filler

Is filler reversible?

Yes. All the hyaluronic acid fillers Kat uses can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which she keeps on-site. That’s why she only uses HA-based fillers.

How long does filler last?

It depends on the area. Lip filler lasts about 6–12 months; cheek, jawline, and under-eye filler often last 12–18 months or longer.

Does filler hurt?

Most filler contains lidocaine and Kat applies topical numbing first. You’ll feel pressure and mild discomfort, but most clients handle it well.

Will I bruise or swell?

Some swelling is normal, especially with lips. Bruising is possible but not guaranteed. Most clients are presentable within a few days.

The Studio & Safety

Where are you located?

Kat works from a private studio in Birkdale Village, Huntersville, NC. The exact address is shared when you book — a clean, comfortable space designed for one-on-one appointments.

Is your studio sanitary and safe?

Yes. Kat follows clinical protocols for a sterile injection environment. All needles and syringes are single-use, and products come from licensed US distributors only.

Do you work with a medical director?

Yes. Kat operates under physician oversight as required by North Carolina law for RN injectors. confirm medical director details before launch

Why a private studio instead of a med spa?

Because the med spa model prioritizes volume over experience. Kat’s model is one-on-one, never rushed, with a real follow-up afterward.

Pricing & Policies

How much does Botox cost?

$15 per unit. Most clients use 20–50 units per session depending on the areas treated. See the pricing page for area-by-area estimates.

Do you require a deposit?

A small deposit holds your appointment and goes toward your treatment. confirm policy

What is your cancellation policy?

Kat asks for at least 48 hours notice to reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit. confirm policy

What if I don’t like my results?

That’s what the complimentary two-week follow-up is for. If something looks off or you want more in an area, Kat addresses it at no charge.
